Terms of Use

1. Service Description

Aiden Brain is an AI-powered chat workspace that connects to large language models (LLMs) via third-party AI providers. We provide the platform infrastructure; AI responses are generated by third-party models.

2. Your API Key & Costs

Aiden Brain uses your personal OpenRouter API key to make AI requests. This means:

• You are responsible for all costs incurred on your OpenRouter account
• We never store your full API key in a readable format
• You can revoke or replace your key at any time from the app settings
• We are not responsible for unexpected charges on your OpenRouter account

3. Data & Privacy

• Your chat history is stored on our server and associated with your account
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• Files you upload are processed and stored temporarily for AI analysis
• You can delete your chats and account data at any time
• AI conversations may be processed by OpenRouter and their model providers — see OpenRouter's privacy policy

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Aiden Brain to:

• Generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Attempt to bypass AI safety guidelines
• Share access credentials with others
• Use the service for automated abuse or spam
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Availability

We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur for maintenance, updates, or third-party API issues (OpenRouter, model providers).

6. Limitation of Liability

Aiden Brain is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for:

• Inaccurate AI responses — always verify important information
• Data loss due to server issues (maintain your own backups of critical content)
• Costs incurred on your OpenRouter account

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via the app.

7b. Service Discontinuation

In the event that Aiden Brain discontinues or suspends its service for any reason:

• Your API key belongs entirely to you — it is stored in your personal account
• Any unused credits in your account remain yours and never expire
• We have no access to your funds or API account at any time
• No refunds are applicable from Aiden Brain as we do not charge you directly
• Shutdown notice: If we plan to discontinue the service, a notice will be displayed inside your user panel at least 14 days before the shutdown date

7c. Future Pricing Changes

Aiden Brain currently operates on a free, bring-your-own-API-key model. However, we reserve the right to change our pricing model in the future, including introducing paid plans or subscription tiers. If this happens:

• Existing users will be notified via a notice inside their user panel at least 30 days before any pricing change takes effect
• A free tier may remain available with limited features
• You will never be charged without your explicit consent and action
• You may cancel your account at any time before any charges apply
• If Aiden Brain moves to direct billing, full payment terms will be published separately and clearly communicated

8. No Support / Self-Service

Aiden Brain is a self-service platform. There is no customer support team.

• This service is provided as-is with no guaranteed response to inquiries
